IOM Migration and the SDGs Animation

For the International Organization for Migration, we collaborated with Earthtree Film to create an animated explainer showing how migration contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. The animation followed a family’s migratory journey to bring complex global development themes to life, connecting migration with issues including poverty, health, education, gender equality, climate change and community resilience. Our approach combined clear storytelling, accessible script development and engaging motion design to make the links between migration and sustainable development easier to understand. The final animation helped communicate how empowering migrants can create positive ripple effects for families, communities and societies locally, regionally and globally.
